Unke jamane me pahad chadke nadiya par karke school jaate the, hum bas cutoff chadhne ki koshish kar rahe hai.
Since childhood, we are asked, “What do you wanna be when you grow up?” Apparently that question is supposed to help us figure it out till we ‘grow up’. The so-called external factor affecting our choice is society, which in India is the family itself cause khandan itna bada hai ki kalesh with karan ko piche chhod de. Iss asylum me science ke alava kuch lena ghor paap hota hai aur iski saza ye toh bhugatne vale hi jante hai.
It can all be so overwhelming, it’s like the stories have already been written you just have to choose one of them. When we call this a matrix we can’t escape, how I like to think about it- the matrix was created by us and being loyal to it has become like a duty for us and when one of us went ahead and explored the boundary and beyond of this matrix we all found out there is much more but the boundary and the beyond and the matrix that we blame may vary for each and every one of us. The fears and the problems that follow as we explore the beyond make us hesitant to step out of that line and are compelled to work around and under it like one is supposed to.
For me, even if you think you are working inside the matrix, at some point you accelerate and go beyond, which for you is the expanding matrix and yes it does expand but if you never leave the matrix how do you justify and decide the boundaries of your own reality? Something to think about, ain’t it? At this point in your life, where your emotions dominate over your conscience or moral sense, you took a decision no matter the circumstance and are trying even if not your best to live up to it, trying your best to fight your own matrix.
There are moments almost every day when you wanna give up and just kudjate hai par you don’t, I know I sound like a suicidal maniac(I am) but seriously talking, the fact that you are still not dead or haven’t given up(in better words) is a sign that there is that little hope inside you that still believes in you and that still cares for you. So the point where you don’t feel motivated is where you should know that if it’s not someone outside, there will always be someone inside who still believes in you and your efforts. And as the saying goes; don’t do it for them, do it for you.
The line is drawn when it comes down to understanding and implementing in the lattice of your own. Understanding is the point we all ace in but when it comes to implementing it’s a whole different story. According to me, the story has two leads as well as one baddie(yes, obviously I am in love with that one). The two leads, gratitude and satisfaction, are often neglected but hold the spotlight. The plot is ‘Achievement’ with which comes the uninvited ‘void’ and there my dear friend we come across comparison. It deepens the void, it questions every choice of yours, and the best of them it forces you to blame the matrix. While painful, it also allows you to question the boundaries of the matrix and your reality. So what if the choices aren’t perfect? The perfect answer was never formulated. Even if the theatre is dark and the seats are empty, you still have to perform your part. You still have to give your best because when you realize it’s you against you, it might uncover the potential that your class teacher always talks about.
Remember your own matrix, your own rules.
Real talk, even tho you’re 16 you got brains 🧠(take it as a compliment).
